Based in Paris, London, Ghana and America, I am an international entrepreneur. I started my beauty career since 2005 when I was doing makeup for anyone suffering from a chronic condition. I perfected makeup through chemotherapy and landed a makeup-teaching job in a New York school for disabled adults from 2008 to date.
Working in various communities within the UK, Paris and America has gotten me a lot of attention and I started working with celebrity clients. My first celebrity client was 50Cent. At the time working with celebrities was fun and like any new positive experience it took me to higher levels within the entertainment industry.
I started working as a beauty and entertainment journalist conducting high profile and community interviews. I’ve interviewed the likes of Tyra Banks, Dionne Warwick, Bobby Brown and more.
Working on high profile magazines and editorial campaigns gave me a better outlook into the creative fashion/makeup and media industry.
My career then took a deeper concentration into media and I was working on radio stations Hot97/WBLS/Pulse FM/ and Be100 within the UK, Atlanta and New York.
Dealing with so much music inspired me to start a record label that I run with celebrity industry friends.
While pioneering the digital music industry, I am currently searching for a kidney transplant as I am suffering from Kidney failure and they are currently functioning at 5%.
“Despite every achievements that I have attained working to enhance the confidence of the disabled is what inspires me the most.” Ashley De La Mode.
